Have fun while you work!

Working at camp helps you develop skills that employers want to see on your resume while having fun and forming lasting friendships. You’ll be part of an amazing team that strives to make a difference in children’s’ lives through coaching, mentoring, and simply being a positive influence.

Gain valuable job experience and improve your ability to achieve greater success in life by learning:

Leadership skills

You will have the opportunity to learn many of the necessary characteristics of a professional by managing a group of campers and by contributing to the growth and development of each individual participant. You’ll learn ways to prioritize tasks, the value of preparation, and ways to organize your schedule to be better able to help organize others. Experience the different ways a team can accomplish more by working together in contrast to a group of individuals working independently.

Collaborative and Social skills

As a counselor, you will receive on-the-ground, practical, real-life training in how to work with a team and how to help build the culture of our camp community. You’ll learn better ways to communicate with team members, the importance of reliability, and the value of surrounding yourself with great people.

Problem-solving and Creative skills

You will develop innovative and fun ways to engage an audience of two to 20 campers and implement alternate plans when faced with unexpected changes to the daily routine. You will be encouraged to practice mimicking an established method, then to find ways to improve it to make it something original. You’ll learn from watching optimistic, problem-solving team members who focus on creative solutions.
