Lights, Camera, Action! This summer your camper has the opportunity to immerse themselves and flourish in our theatre workshop. These sessions are jammed packed with guidance from our theatre instructor so campers can rehearse and perfect their craft.

Video Production Workshop

Lights, Camera, Action! In Video Production, campers have the chance to create a video, from writing a script to producing the final product. Each week, campers will be able to tell a story by producing a short video that can be tailored to the camp’s theme week. Campers will also use different techniques, like cross-cutting, close-ups, framing, and many more. Campers will even have access to watch their videos at home!

Tiny Treasures Workshop

Who doesn’t love anything teeny tiny? Campers in this workshop will have the opportunity to create projects like tiny houses made of stamps, button books and bouquets, cork flower arrangements, and tiny animals  from polymer clay. Each project will allow your camper’s imagination to grow and create unique, tiny works of art. Campers will have the ability to create daily projects for a plethora of home art!

STEAMers Workshop

STEAM = Science and Technology interpreted through Engineering and the Arts, based on Mathematical elements. It’s no doubt that STEAM education is the future, and in this workshop, campers will explore all of the STEAM elements and bring them together in practical and FUNctional ways. Each week, campers will be given different scenarios or tasks that, as a collective group, they will need to solve. Each scenario will rely on collaboration, creativity, and of course STEAM. This workshop is great for campers who enjoy science, technology, engineering, art, and/or math even if they may not know it yet! It is truly an educational experience that is fun for all campers!

Sports Galore Workshop

Is your camper someone who likes to play sports, regardless of the type of sport? If so, then this workshop is for them! Campers will enjoy the likes of soccer, street hockey, basketball, flag football, kickball, and many more on the beautiful, 140 acre campus. Our qualified instructors will teach campers basic skills from dribbling or passing to advanced skills, such as offensive schemes and defensive techniques. Whether your camper is a novice and never played or an advanced technical player, our staff will help them refine their game. Campers will also be learning how to work effectively as teammates.

Rock Climbing Workshop

If your camper is interested in learning how to climb, or looking to amp up their climbing strength and skills, then this workshop is perfect for them. Throughout this workshop, campers will get familiar with climbing wall safety, knots, belay techniques, effective climbing movements, and basic climbing equipment and terminology. And the goal isn’t just to reach the top of the wall because campers will learn the importance of  overcoming obstacles. Campers will be learning from our certified rock climbing instructor who understands the importance of incorporating safety during a fun day of climbing.

Photography (Digital) Workshop

Creative inclinations surface early in life, and with this workshop, campers have the opportunity to express their creative ideas with photography. Campers will be able to learn how to take quality photographs and use a variety of camera techniques to capture amazing works of art. Throughout the week, campers will build upon their knowledge of photography and utilize our beautiful 140 acres to capture memorable images. Some pictures may even end up on our website or camp app! By the end of the week, campers will have a portfolio that is sure to impress everyone.

Paper Mache/Sculpting Workshop

Clay creations, mini sculptures, paper mache face masks, and piñatas are just some of the fun items campers will create in our Paper Mache Workshop! Campers will be able to use their creativity to create works of art they truly love. No previous experience is necessary because our art instructor will teach the techniques in paper mache and sculpture design. Campers only need a desire to create masterpieces!

Painting Workshop

Our Painting Workshop will allow your camper to become a more experienced artist as they create masterpieces in a relaxing and supportive environment! While learning about different mediums such as acrylic, oil, and watercolor, campers will also be able to change their sceneries. Campers will be able to take an easel, canvas, and paint and then go outside to paint by the Wildebeest Watering Hole. Or they may be inside our very own Art Barn, collaborating with their friends on a fun new project. The possibilities are endless in this workshop for your camper, and they are sure to bring home a masterpiece!

Outdoor Living Skills Workshop

Does your camper love being one with nature? Outdoor Living Skills gives campers a unique experience on our 140-acre campus by allowing them to investigate nature, understand the importance of preserving nature, learn life skills, work collaboratively with their peers, and so much more. Whether they are pitching a tent or learning how to read a compass to get through a maze, campers are sure to have a blast. Don’t let your campers miss out on this workshop!
