Farming Camp

Entering Grades 6th - 9th

Dig in, get your hands dirty, and experience life on the farm! At Farm & Animal Care Camp, middle schoolers become hands-on farmers for the week—tending to crops, caring for animals, and learning the importance of sustainable living. Working alongside our campus farmers, campers will feed and groom goats and chickens, harvest seasonal produce, and explore the science of soil, composting, and pollination. Every day brings a new adventure—from gathering eggs in the morning to harvesting vegetables for camp lunches. It’s the perfect blend of outdoor exploration, animal care, and environmental stewardship—rooted in fun, friendship, and the natural rhythms of our beautiful SSFS farm.
